In Short: New Belgian Supercar Revealed

Somewhere in Belgium, a new supercar has been produced. It is called the Gillet Vertigo 5 Spirit, and is the brainchild of a man named Tony Gillet. The car certainly has things to boast about. It ways in at just 950kg, which makes the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento featured in one of the previous articles seem a bit tubby. It sports a Maserati 4.2litre V8 engine, which produces 420bhp- not shabby, but if you're thinking it might be a bit underpowered, remember its weight! Its chassis is made from Carbon Nomex, it sports 350mm brakes with six pistons, and has a six-speed sequential gearbox. However, despite these brilliant statistics, the looks of the car itself are something to be debated. The front looks fantastic. It sports a large front splitter, long, narrow headlights and small, rectangular front grille. The bonnet boasts two large air intakes on either side-small features just to remind you that this car means business. the rear of the car is quite 'stubby' in shape, as it is relatively flat, with just a hint of curvature protruding out of it. The rear lights follow round about the same shape as the front lights do, and there is a large rear wing which provides most of the downforce needed to keep this car stuck to the road. At the bottom centre of the rear lie twin tailpipes, which aren't too large but will still add presence to the car. To cap it off, the car has a minimalistic interior which still retains a luxury feel, through the use of suede-like material and bright orange leather. Want one?
